Flutter developer to fix login and push notification bugs

Our Flutter app (iOS + Android) is live but users report two problems:

1) Google sign-in fails on some Android phones
2) Push notifications arrive late or not at all on iOS

Code is in a private GitHub repo, Firebase is used for both. I'm not technical, my previous developer left, so a short written explanation of what was wrong would be appreciated.

Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging required.
